Conservation et valorisation du patrimoine culturel bâti de la région de Ségou

Abstract

Le Mali se caractérise par la diversité et la richesse de son potentiel patrimonial culturel et naturel, son patrimoine culturel bâti nécessite la sauvegarde et la mise en valeur. Le manque de synergie d’action entre les acteurs nationaux et autorités locales sur la politique de patrimoniale malgré la création des différentes des structures déconcentrées de l’Etat et l’adoption des différents textes législatifs et règlementaires ; le patrimoine culturel bâti subit de graves dégradations, qui menacent leur existence ainsi que les métiers traditionnels qui y sont liés. Notre recherche porte sur « Conservation et valorisation du patrimoine culturel bâti de la région de Ségou », une démarche qui vise à produire une documentation de la conservation à la valorisation pour soutenir et d’appuyer les services techniques du ministère de la culture en charge du patrimoine culturel de la région. La région de Ségou dispose d’un riche patrimoine culturel bâti exceptionnel non protégé et délaissé au profit des constructions neuves. Ces bâtis exceptionnels subissent de graves dégradations, qui menacent aussi bien leur existence que les métiers traditionnels qui y sont liés. Nous avons élaboré un projet de valorisation des sites culturels du vestibule de Biton dénommé « Espace culturel Bitonblon ». Ce projet s’articule autour de 3 composantes qui sont : ❖ l’entretien et le réaménagement des bâtis existants ; ❖ la collecte des objets culturels existants à Sékoro ; ❖ les actions d’assistance et de formation des gestionnaires et guides locaux des sites. Cette mise en valeur contribuera à la mise en place d’un système de gestion participative du patrimoine culturel reconnu par les populations comme étant de l’héritage du Royaume Bambara de Ségou.

Mali is characterized by the diversity and richness of its cultural and natural heritage potential; its built cultural heritage requires safeguarding and enhancement. The lack of synergy of action between national actors and local authorities on heritage policy despite the creation of different decentralized state structures and the adoption of various legislative and regulatory texts; the built cultural heritage is undergoing serious degradation, which threatens their existence as well as the traditional trades linked to them. Our research focuses on "Conservation and enhancement of the built cultural heritage of the Ségou region", an approach that aims to produce documentation from conservation to enhancement to defend and support the technical services of the Ministry of Culture in charge of cultural heritage of the region. The Ségou region has a rich, exceptional built cultural heritage that is unprotected and abandoned in favor of new construction. These exceptional buildings are subject to serious deteriorations, which threatens both their existence and the traditional trades linked to them. We have developed a project to promote the cultural sites of Sékoro called “Bitonblon Cultural Space”. This project revolves around 3 components which are: ❖ maintenance and redevelopment of existing buildings; ❖ collection of existing cultural objects in Sékoro; ❖ assistance and training actions for local site managers and guides. This enhancement will contribute to the establishment of a participatory management system for the cultural heritage recognized by the populations as being the heritage of the Bambara Kingdom of Ségou.
