In a context marked by numerous cases of failure and dropping out of school, our study is based on the subject: "parental representations and choice of studies for adolescents". The present research raised the problem of the impact of parental representations on the school choices of adolescents. Our main question was to determine what influence parental representations has on School choices of adolescents. Our main objective was to determine the influence of parental representations on course choices of adolescents. Thus, we have evoked the theory of social representations of Moscovici (1961). Our main research hypothesis is that parental representations have an impact on the educational choices of adolescents. To verify this, we carried out quantitative research at the Lycée Classique d'Ebolowa. The analysis of the collected data which was carried out by the khi-square test, allowed us to confirm all our research hypotheses. Finally, we made recommandations for the members of education system.en_US
