Résumé: | In this work, the subject dealt with is the management of the Dja wildlife reserve and local development. When asked what is the impact of administrative action on the reserve and on local population, it merges that, thanks to the training strategy for guards and the organization of forums for Dja actors, the reserve exists always. But, the protection, the conservation which are constituted as the foundations of creation and the administrative of the reserve, its survival is threatened by a number of problems such as poaching and logging. The RFD by its natural assets: physical, fauna and flora, is a place par excellence for tourism. The administration’s contribution to local development exists, but it remains insufficient given the isolation of the localities bordering the reserve. To get around these obstacles, it is time to think about sustainable development, through good collaboration and communication between the State and local populations. |
