Résumé: | Our study is focused on career development and individual performance at Cameroon Real Estate Company. The objective of this study is to show that career development influences the performance of Cameroon Real Estate Company employees. To do so, we asked ourselves the following research question: does career development influence individual performance at Cameroon Real Estate Company? To answer this question, we chose the hypothetic-deductive method for a quantitative approach based on a questionnaire administered to 34 respondents who constitute our sample drawn from a set of about 72 employees of the Regional Division of Cameroon Real Estate Company representing our population of study. The analysis of our data was carried out using SPSS version 25 software. The results of this analysis allowed us to conclude that, at 66,66%, career development significantly influences the individual performance of employees in the Cameroon Real Estate Company, either the confirmation of two specific hypotheses out of three. However, based on the dysfunctions observed and noted at Cameroon Real Estate Company, we made some suggestions relating to the establishment of career plans, the adoption of a performance evaluation system and the establishment of a vocational training policy. Keywords: development, career, individual performance. |
