La rationalité ouverte dans la production des savoirs en Afrique a l’ère des technosciences

Abstract

The question of knowledge is found in the heart of philosophy. On this question of knowledge is that of reason being a faculty of thinking that confines knowledge. And this reason analysis real by giving sense to it, to permit its better understanding. Eason as instrument of understanding and analysis is deployed as a system of canon and rules through which rationality is defined. Also, the power of science confines it to a supreme knowledge with operatory and applicable knowledge which permits intellectual, moral, economic and industrial progress. Scientific authority is thus guaranteed by scientific spirit. It is in that line that technoscience is elaborated, deployed in world revolution with prowesses and derivatives and through its power technoscientific civilization has permitted man to increase his hold on nature, putting at times culture in danger. Through it, a type of materialist and technical civilization has imposed itself dictating roles to follow. But rationality obeys to cultural canons of each people. Therefore, rationality is not unique, since it reflects the cultural vision of each people. From where its open character, meanwhile, western rationality as presented in its cultural sphere is in a logic with linear and fixists facets which are close. From where question of unique rationality has always been tabled, Thus, this reason that is deployed and erected as the only source of knowledge production has always been facing difficulties to apprehend real in all its totality and its complexity. The new era of opened rationality hereby permits to come out of monolithic conception of architectonic reason to valorize pluralist conception of thruth. Reason being limited, thus manifest its weakness with respect to certain phenomenons to which man is faced is not explained by analytic reason. From which the necessity to convocate an analysis reason which request other susceptible faculties to bring a supplementary light for a better understanding of humans. And the role of Africa is capital in this vast enterprise. Thus Africa still has domains which has not been discovered by sciences and which constitutes a sum of riches capitalized. And for this purpose, Africa needs to work hard to reinvent science, or better still do it otherwise, such that, man should be more blooming. Its start must be effective in scientific domain so that it should determine world’s conception
