Résumé: In order to solve the problem of inefficiency noticed in the public administration, the governing powers have put in place a great modernisation program of the said body (public administration). This concerns the adoption of its functioning through the repartition of responsibilities and the introduction of new management tools and skills. The above needs to acquire new knowledge by sending its personnel for further training. This prompted us to entitle our work as follows: “continuous training and public administration agents’ performances: case of permanent workers”. The above topic is chosen with an aim to show that continuous training helps in ameliorating the out put of public agents. But, it is equally important to upgrade the organising conditions in Cameroon. Our investigations were carried out with the help of a questionnaire which permitted us to inquire from our targeted population (permanent workers). As to the effect of concluding that permanent training do exist, but then is a hindrance to its effectiveness. Our research work has an objective which is to demonstrate that, continuous training help in ameliorating the out put of permanent workers. It is equally important to clearly bring out the causes of it inefficiency. Looking at our analyses, we came to a conclusion that continuous training in the public administration will help in producing good results if permanent workers are implicated. Suggestion made concerning the amelioration of organising continuous training and working conditions were made in the sense of ameliorating the quality of continuous training and that of the services rendered in the public administration.
