This work, from memory, addresses the issue of sociopolitical crisis management in Cameroon. It shows that the origin of socio-political crises in Cameroon is linked to international, regional and national dynamics and that the cities of Douala and Yaoundé are the epicenters of its crises. The management strategie put in place by state to curb is crises are violent, non-violent and political. On the theoretical level, several approaches have made it possible to mobilize certain element which have made it possible to apprehend the phenomenon of socio-political crises in Cameroun, a haven of peace and sociopolitical stability, was not spared by the east wind which had blown everywhere in Africa, setting in motion the peace of state and the end of dictatorial regimes. On the methological level, this work is base on an evolutionary and analytical observation of the socio-political crisis management mechanisms used by the state of Cameroon to put an end to crises from the start of the 1990. We had to dwell not only on the motives of these crises, their focus, their actors and their modus operandi but also on the various containment strategies and make some recommandation. This research has made it possible to make the observation that according to the equel, the crisis management methods used by the state of Cameroon have hardly changed from those of colonial powers and that today, the state still faces socio-political crises because it always resolves its problems cyclically and not institutionally.en_US
