He focuses his analysis on the reasons for their installation in Yaoundé, the activities they carry out and above all the different interactions between these people and other ethnic communities from there in the city. Indeed, as in all the other cities of Cameroon, Yaoundé, due to the mildness of its climate and the hospitable nature of its population, is a land of immigrants, a welcoming city conductive of migration. Thus, the question that constitutes the common thread of this investigation is the following: What were the attractive factors for the establishment of the Bamoun in the city of Yaoundé? Answering such a question led us to the use of certain elements. Indeed, observation, documentation and interviews have enabled us to understand the dynamics of relations between the Bamoun and other ethnic communities in the city of Yaoundé. This work makes an analysis of different interactions between people and its impact on the consolidation of national integration in Cameroon and is presented in four chapters subdivided into two parts. The first part highlights the framework and geographical aspects of the city of Yaounde and especially the motivies for the installation of the Bamoun in this city. The second part focuses its analysis on the insertion of the Bamoun in the capital city and its emprint of the consolidation of the national integration in Cameroon. It emerges from this investigation that: the city of Yaoundé from the first hours of its creation is a land of welcome. Over time, it has become a land of immigrants, a veritable laboratory of living together where various ethnic groups collaborate. It was noticed that: Despite some difficulties with which they are confronted on a daily basis, the Bamoun are indeed present and established in almost all the seven district municipalities of the city of Yaounde, leading various activities to better fit into the economic fabric of the city above all cohabit harmoniously with other ethnic communities of Yaounde which promotes social cohesion, participates in maintaining and strengthening peace, understanding between people, who are elements essential for national integration.
