Les complexes agro-industriels et la promotion de l’emploi des jeunes au Cameroun : le cas de la sosucam de mbandjock 1965-2020

Abstract

After independence, Cameroonian authorities in worries about the Cameroon’s development will put in place passive politics to reduce youths' unemployment. The said politics settled around the creation of structures and enterprises able to employ youths. This is how SOSUCAM is created in 1965 at Mbandjock which has as goal to fight against youths' unemployment and favor the country's emergency. It is in this area that studies appear. It examines the contribution of complex agro industrials in the promotion of youths' employment in Cameroon; we have SOSUCAM as an example. It shows that the upcoming of this industry at Mbandjock and Nkoteng has highly contributed to a fight against unemployment and youths' laxity. To reach this demonstration, we had to run to diverse sources notably: oral sources, written sources, iconographic sources, through an approach both synchronic and diachronic. It is globally said that the youths political recruitment results and management at the SOSUCAM industry are due to juridical weakness (The agreement of the working code and the juridical ambiguities in the youths' managing system at the SOSUCAM industry), and managerial (miserable salaries and favoritism in the youth's promotion)
