In most African countries, low-income entrepreneurs have difficulties obtaining bank loan. The research presented in this thesis focuses on the contribution of the tontine system to the financing of entrepreneurship in Cameroon. How do EMERCOM and ADJAS association through the tontine system contribute to the development of pastoral entrepreneurship? This is the question that guides this research. The objective is to identify and appreciate the contribution of tontine system of EMERCOM and ADJAS association in the development of pastoral entrepreneurship in Yaoundé. Several theoretical and methodological processes have been mobilized to analyze the modes of operation of this system as well as its influence in the development of the activities of young entrepreneurs. On the basis of a qualitative survey carried out with the pastoral entrepreneurs of two associations, namely EMERCOM and ADJAS, we have identified and analyzed the various mechanisms set up by these associations to promote the development of pastoral entrepreneurship in Yaoundé. The results ultimately show that the EMERCOM and ADJAS associations have numerous financial and even technical means to stimulate entrepreneurial dynamics. Despite the fact that these financial resources are sometimes insufficient in certain cases, these associative groups constitute real levers for the financing of entrepreneurship in Cameroon in general and in the city of Yaoundé in particular.fr_FR
