dc.description.abstractThis Study is titled mainstreaming gender parity in Cameroon University Administration Case Study University of yaoundé I from 1933-2019. The objective was to understand gender issues specifically gender parity which is an instrument that uses issues of gender inequality in terms of opportunities, rights, and professional representation of men and women in a new rational space. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches were used for data collection which permitted to collection of data from research centers and libraries. This data was analyzed using statistical tables. Women are underrepresented in the University of Yaounde I administrative setting. They constitute only 1% of top-ranking staff. In oder to promote parity in the University of Yaounde I it is necessary to encourage the equality department of the university, administrative. Also, 80% person of the administrative are from the same tribal cultural origin. Future appointments should prioritize merit respective of culture, tribal origin and sex.fr_FR
