Résumé: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of the project of bilingual education’s development in the first cycle of secondary school (PRODEB-II) on the Graduates’ employability from Higher Teacher’s Training Colleges (HTC) in the Republic of Chad. This work is in line with Becker’s (1964) theory of human capital and establishes the link between training and the socio-professional integration of bilingual teachers. This study consists of evaluating the contraintes related to pedagogical processes, financial and material resources that influence Graduates’ employability from HTC funded by the Islamic Development Bank. Therefore, we used a mixed research approach in order to achieve our research objective. Thus, Questionnaires were administered to 100 students from Higher Teacher’ Training College of N’Djamena (HTC-NDJ), all disciplines from both first and second cycles and an interview was conducted with 02 administrators from the Directorate of Educational projects at the Ministry of National Education and Civic Promotion. An analysis was carried out based on an exploratory research which led us to formulate a general hypothesis: the management of bilingual education project PRODEB-II in lower secondary cycle significantly influences Graduates’ employability from the HTC in the Republic of Chad. The quantitative data collected were analyzed with SPSS software using descriptive statistics and regression test, and the qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis method. The quantitative results of the study showed that the Graduates’ employability from Higher Teacher’s Training College was not influenced by pedagogical processes employed (β=0,041, p˃0.05); financial resources used (β=-0,012, p˃0,05) and material resources used (β=-0,048, p˃0,05) during the PRODEB-II project. The qualitative results of the study revealed that the management of the project was very political, although the Government must deploy trained teachers in the field. The study concludes that the level of employability of Graduates from Higher Teacher’ Training College does not depend on the factors investigated in this study but rather on other factors of the project that are not taken into account in this study. Based on the above, a number of recommendations have been made to the Chadian government, partners in educational development, management unit and bilingual graduates beneficiaries of the project.
