Abstract

This memory shows how questions related to migration are posed in the novels Samba pour la France and Les Échoués. As a result, it sets out to analyze the evolution of migratory process from the country of origin to the host country. He thus highlights the violence, the shortcomings linked to the society of origin as well as the discomfort that push the protagonists to undertake a journey strewn with pitfalls in order to find happiness and have a better life in a other society. To conduct this study, we relied on Jean-Pierre Richard’s thematic criticism, which operates in three stages. We first identified and described the motives of migration, then we presented its modalities to finally arrive at the fundamental problem posed by migration, namely hospitality crisis.
