dc.description.abstract | The natural preservation is the most important thing that contemporary world is facing. In fact, the overexploitation of natural ressources, the destruction of natural’s living and the extinction’s threat of species show that life can disappear in the world. Naturally, its conservation is topicality because people think that it is a new preoccupation. Between seeking solutions and a new way to reconsider human and natural links, there are lots of ideas. The Homerus, Hesiodus and Virgil’s poems denote that people of the ancient time had similar problems and had answers about it. The thinking of the nature is sacred, because each of its aspect is divine. The world is full of gods that represent the natural’s elements. The aim of the analysis is to show that environmental cogito didn’t begin in the previous century, but from Greek and Roman antiquity, who also had solutions about it. In other words, we look in these thesis the environment esteem of Antiquity, through the reading of Homerus, Hesiodus and Virgil’s poems. The general hypothesis indicate that in the Antiquity mind, there is an idea of protecting nature. To make sure our analysis, we choose the ecocritic’s method according to Anderson. It’s an environment new thinking which transform a reader about its stake. For this ecocritic author, we should focus on the way to protect environment and we can use more than one text to have a general idea how to proceed. The results obtain in the analysis prove that people can leave in peace with the environment and respect each part of the world, when human being is not centralize. | en_US |
