Résumé: Disability is a problem that spares no country in the world, whether developed or developing countries. Which motivated us to choose the following theme: Experience of physical disability and quality of life: case of the physically disabled at the CNRPH of Etougebe. There are many causes of motor disability, including acquired or genetic diseases, congenital malformations, trauma due to an accident, aging, … Motor disability, following chronic illnesses and trauma, is then long-term and long-term requires people to face, on a daily basis, problems to which they should provide solutions based on the resources at their disposal… Convinced that the quest for empowerment and identity reorganization are the things best shared among people with disabilities, we ask ourselves how the experience of physical disability influences the quality of life of people with motor disabilities? From this main question, we formulated the following general hypothesis: The experience of physical disability influences the quality of life of people with motor disabilities in the CNRPH by offering them general life satisfaction and well-being or not. To conduct this research, we collected data using a semi-directive interview guide addressed to a sample of thirteen (13) particiapants aged 26 to 55 years old and all with motor disabilities, internet at the CNRPH, in the Yaounde VI district, Mfoundi department, Center region (including four (04) females and nine (09) males). The data collected in the field were analyzed using content analusis, which allowed us after the analysis to verify the relevance of ourhypothesis, to establish a correspondence between the hypothesis and the results obtained, correspondence supported by various theories presented in chapter 3 entitled “theoretical insertion”
