Résumé: The objective of this research is to examine the different factors which, in the management of the socio-political environment of public higher education in Chad, influence the phenomenon of international student mobility at the University of Yaoundé 1. It first tries to better understand what are the elements driving a student's decision to participate or not in international mobility. Also, it tries to analyze the impacts generated by such an experience and to shed light on the different management systems of Chadian universities. Thus, in order to verify the general hypothesis: it is the place to establish a link between the management of the socio-political environment of public higher education and the international mobility of Chadian students at the University of Yaoundé 1. To this end, we have evoked the theories of human capital, the theory of migration, and the theory of social learning to explain our problem. To achieve this, we conducted the survey at two academic institutions. We used the stratified random sampling technique. We used a questionnaire comprising open, semi-open and closed questions to students of The University of Yaoundé 1 aimed to establish a link between the management of higher education in Chad and the international mobility of Chadian students in Yaoundé. The analysis of the data collected during this survey enabled us to confirm the general hypothesis: there is a significant link between the management of the socio-political environment of education and the i nternational mobility of Chadian students at school. The difficulties that have been highlighted are administrative, economic and sociocultural, while the strategies developed are mainly found in the support that students have been able to find with their families. Efforts should be made by the government to improve the study conditions of students for the stability and development of Chadian higher education.
