This dissertation is entitled: "Teacher's curriculum workload and quality education in public primary schools of Yaoundé VI subdivision". It examines whether quality education in its context stems from the curriculum load of primary school teachers. This work identified five research questions, one of which was primary and four secondary. The main one was whether the teacher's curriculum workload affects quality education. It is therefore the decomposition of this main question that gives rise to the formulation of secondary research questions namely: Does the preparation of lessons by a teacher in several disciplines influence quality education? Does teaching lessons by a teacher in several disciplines affect quality education? Does the evaluation and marking of students' work by a teacher in several disciplines influence quality education? Does the class size for a teacher influence and quality education? The research questions gave rise to four specific hypotheses. The aim is to show that all these factors influence quality education. The rest of the work presents the purpose, interests, delimitation and notional approach of some key concepts. The theoretical framework made it possible to understand the subject through the review of the literature which consisted in presenting the different themes of the subject. The explanatory theories of the subject that have made it possible to base this study for a better understanding of the concepts. The second part which is the methodological framework which consists in operationalizing the study hypothesis was based on chapters such as the preparation and organization of the survey: the type of study, the study population, the sampling technique and sample, the presentation of the data collection instrument. The method of data analysis, the presentation of the data as well as the verification of assumptions, the interpretations and discussion of the results show that the link and effect that exist between the curriculum workload of primary school teachers and quality education, on one hand, and reference theories, on the other, explain the research hypotheses. The research is based on a sample of 200 public primary school teachers. The data that were collected using the questionnaire were analyzed using the Statistical Products and Services Solutions (SPSS) software with the use of simple linear regression. It was concluded that three of the variable, lesson preparation, teaching lessons, and class size have a weak positive correlation but do not influence quality education. However, the variable marking of students' work has an influence on quality education for the primary school teacher. This validated one of three hypotheses and drew the conclusion that curriculum workload influences quality education.fr_FR
