The study that we conducted in public secondary schools in the Vallée-du-Ntem focuses on the effects in teaching staff transfer on the social performance of these schools. Our main objective is to show that transfer of teaching staff has a significant influence on the social performance of these schools. For this, we used a quantitative approach in a hypothetico-deductive nature. A critical literature review reveals that transfers constitute an important part of the management of the careers and mobility of personnel in an organisation and which can have significant effects on the social performance of the organisation. Also, the agency theory of Jensen and Meckling (1976), the X and Y theory of Mac Gregor (1960) and the theory of limited rationality of Simon (1973) were summoned to lay the theoretical foundation of our study. The operationalisation of the IV that is « transfer of teaching staff has made it possible to retain three (03) factors from which we have issued our research hypotheses, namely (HR1): the teachers promotion have a significant influence on performance of public secondary schools in the Vallée-du-Ntem, (HR2): The desired transfer determines the social performance of public secondary schools in the Vallée-du-Ntem, (HR3): There is a significant link between sovereignty transfer and the social performance of public secondary schools in the Vallée-du-Ntem. The data was collected via a questionnaire administered to 216 teachers chosen in a probabilistic sample random. These data were analysed with Excel and SPSS 20.0; the chi-square test and modeling using multiple linear regression were used to verify our hypotheses. The results obtained indicate the existence of a significant statistical link (b=0.3683) between sovereignty transfer and the social performance of teachers in public secondary schools in the Vallée-du-Ntem, which therefore allows to validate HR3. From the results, we suggested that the State which is the initiator of the sovereignty transfer must develop a modern information system on the teachers’ career at the level of the DRH in network with each secondary school. This makes it possible to assess the needs on the ground and better organise the transfers of teaching staff with a view to improving social performance in public secondary schools in the Vallée-du-Ntem.fr_FR
