Résumé: Our research theme is: “Journey of epic characters and ideological significance in the tupuri warrior epics of Chad and Cameroon”. This subject challenges us on the issue of the loss of identity of young tupuri. The profound changes caused by the arrival of globalization have completely upset the cultural and societal values of ancient times. We felt challenged by the lack of courage and by the absence of heroic spirit that inhabit young Africans in general, and tupuri in particular. How is the journey of the epic characters in the tupuri warrior epics of Chad and Cameroon? Consisting of six (06) texts, our corpus answers this central question by showing that the course of the characters is not easy, because each of the sequences of the said stories plunges the reader into the meanders of adventures and trials. This work aims to appeal to Tupuri youth to return to their roots, to be competitive, reckless and resilient. On the methodological level, after collecting data in the field, we called on the ethno linguistics of Genevieve Calame Griaule to carry out our analyses. By way of results, our work is a real appeal to the resilience of the young people modeled on the journey of the epic characters for a sustainable development of Africa.
