At Cameroon, trade in second-handed household goods has made a since its advent in Cameroon's metropolises in the early the beginning of the 2000s. Today, this activity continues to expand and attracts a wide range of customers from all social classes. Social classes. It is in this context that this research paper entitled: << Trade in second-handed household goods in the Yaoundé VI sub-division>>. In this area, this activity is flourishing. Despite the difficulties. Despite the difficulties encountered in their trade, the second-handed goods merchants are not giving up. They can be found daily at the points of sale. They attract customers from all social classes, who stock up as they pass through their stores. It was with this in mind that we focused our general objective to analyze the growth of the second-hand household appliance trade in the Yaoundé VI sub-division. To achieve this objective, we started from a main hypothesis and three specific hypotheses. The verification of this hypothesis required the use of a systemic approach a systemic approach involving the collection of data from secondary sources, data from primary sources primary sources and the field surveys themselves. From the processing and analysis of all the field investigations, it appears that the marketing of second-hand household goods is booming in the Yaoundé VI district. Overall, this economic activity is quite profitable. Most of the products sold come from Germany, Belgium, France and Italy, and especially from Southeast Asian countries, notably China. An analysis of the marketing circuit enables us to identify three types of circuit: the long circuit with several intermediaries; the medium circuit with few intermediaries; and the short circuit with fewer intermediaries. Despite the benefits derived from this activity and the many socio-economic transformations it has brought about, it faces a number of constraints: competition, the high cost of customs duties, dubious product quality, etc. Nevertheless, this activity contributes to the blossoming of merchants and households in the Yaoundé VI sub-division.fr_FR
