The present study carries the resurgence of self-exclusion syndrome in sickle cell adolescents. We titled it "traumatic experience of sickle cell anemia and self-exclusion syndrome: a four-case study in sickle cell adolescents" sickle cell disease, which has become a major problem in our society. Because of its pain and physical that it induces to the affected person is not the only source of suffering because people who are affected in occurrence adolescents are sources of stigmatization of exclusion and rejection. Duse to physiological, psychological and social changes, the adolescent lives and evolves in a family that is the first framework. Who is required to play the function of permanence, capacity, transformation, security and continuity, of the tale of being. But this framework must be lacking because of the difference that exists between the sickle cell adolescent and family members, this framework that has this critical period fails to understand the feelings and desire of these adolescents. Within the family they feel excluded, do not feel in their place which will generate the implementation of what Furtos (2009) called the self-exclusion syndrome at home to face everything they undergo which is as he specified a mechanism that is put in place for people who feel excluded and rejected. Our general question is as follows: how does the traumatic experience of sickle cell anemia in a family context in the course promote the construction of the self-exclusion syndrome of exclusion in sickle cell adolescents? To answer this question, we formulated the following hypothesis: to understand the contribution of exclusion syndrome in sickle cell adolescents through the traumatic experience. This study aims to understand the mechanisms of traumatic experience that promote self-exclusion syndrome in sickle cell adolescents. Data collection was carried out through a semi-directive interview with an interview guide with four sickle cell adolescents at the Yaoundé Central Hospital. The analysis of the main results obtained shows that sickle cell adolescents live their disease badly, they feel excluded within the family with their body not in accordance with their age so the traumatic experience through its manifestations contributes to the implementation of self-exclusion syndrome in sickle cell adolescentsfr_FR
