dc.description.abstract | This research work is entitled “Formation continue des enseignants et les acquis des élèves au primaire : cas du PAREC”. It mostly sets out to assess the level of mastery of tools used for in-service training by teachers taking part in it. This study falls in line with qualitative data research-based. It consists of an analysis of the various forms of support provided to teachers during in-service training organized by PAREC. To achieve our objectives, we sampled 16 informants, essentially made up of teachers who had actually taken part in the various phases of in-service training handled by the above-stated programme. Information was gathered through observation and interviews. The aim was to assess the impact of in-service training on primary school pupils. This was done by assessing their effective level of mastery of building a lesson preparation sheet, their level of adaptation to CBA and their ability to properly come up with statement of skills when preparing their lessons. An in-depth analysis of data collected revealed the following results: the lesson preparation sheet is highly welcomed by teachers on the field, although they have not yet fully mastered it. Adaptation to the new pedagogic approach in force (CBA) also remains a challenge, given its complexity as testified by some informants; lastly, the statement of skills is largely acclaimed by almost all the participants in the survey. After interpreting and discussing findings, the study, which has as theoretical frame the constructivist and socio-constructivist approaches, ends with some suggestions for improving the quality and quantity of vocational training organized by PAREC. | en_US |
