Résumé: Entrepreneurship education is one of those disciplines related to career choice, to the development of personal abilities, and attitudes (Li and Wu; 2019). It refers to any teaching of awareness, of support and specialization that has a purpose or is intended to develop entrepreneurial perceptions, and abilities (Toures, 2001). Entrepreneurship education is becoming more important today with the globalization; where the world is a global village and where specifics competencies are required to young for theirs better insertion and integration in the 21st century environment(Abdul;2020). Entrepreneurship education is therefore adequate and adapt to any saturated economy like Cameroon who cannot absorb or employ all its diploma or graduated students (Moustapha; 2019). Many research showed the importance of entrepreneurship education on the development of entrepreneurial competencies in universities and schools milieu. This study has the main objective to measure the influence of entrepreneurship education on the development of entrepreneurial competencies in university of Yaoundé 1 student’s. To achieve this objective, we proceed by sampling random technique in order to collect data from a sample population of n= 300. Questionnaire was administered in two times; on line through Google form and on paper. The verification of hypothesis was done using Pearson coefficient of correlation at α =0.05; witch help us to conclude that: first, there is a significant partial and positive relationship between entrepreneurship programs and the development of student’s entrepreneurial competencies in university of Yaoundé 1. Secondly, that there is a significant positive relationship between student’s attitude toward entrepreneurship and the development of students entrepreneurial competencies in university of Yaoundé 1. Finally, that there is a significant positive relationship between entrepreneurial’s teaching practices and the development of entrepreneurial competencies in university of Yaounde1. The results obtained, converged with some studies and were divergent to others studies. In this basis we draw some implications and recommendations of the study, and finally suggested areas for further researches.
