Adolescence is a period of identity search during which young people indulge in all sorts of experiences, including tobacco consumption. However, a young tobacco user is very often associated with a delinquent and therefore a person adopting non-citizen behavior. However, the practice of healthy living is the set of individual and collective means aimed at promoting or preserving individual and collective well-being. The practice of a healthy lifestyle associated with adolescent tobacco users could help improve their behavior, thereby making them more citizens. This research tries to understand what is the contribution of the determinants of lifestyle on the adoption of civic behaviors among adolescent tobacco users. Methodologically, this research is in the constructivist current, the preferred research strategy is the study of multiple cases of the exploratory type. For this purpose two cases were studied from an interview guide, 10 interviews were conducted. The participants in the study are made up of two categories: current adolescent tobacco users and former adolescent tobacco users. Thematic type content analysis was retained as the analysis strategy. The results of the field survey show that nine variables have a significant influence on the behavior of citizens of the cases studied: the quality of food, sports activities, the place of hobbies, perception, convictions, the family unit, the relationship between peers, the neighborhood, the cost of the product. Based on the conceptual framework of healthy living, two main determinants of healthy living appear to facilitate the adoption of citizenship behaviors by adolescent tobacco users: personal dispositions and support from the environment. apart from their reciprocal interactions, they allow the improvement of citizen behavior. However, the environment remains an important factor that can limit the practice of a healthy lifestyle and therefore the adoption of civic behavior by teenage tobacco users.fr_FR
