Résumé: Since 1998, Turkey has initiated a plan to open up to the African continent. From then on, it has continued to do everything possible to establish itself on the continent. It is therefore in this dynamic that it has intensified its presence in Cameroon over the last twenty years and has favored the acceleration of relations between the two state entities. Today, we can observe a diversification of cooperation between the two countries. This work aims to highlight the elements on which the challenges of cooperation between Cameroon and Turkey are based, in order to highlight the economic and cultural issues of this cooperation. In a hypothetico-deductive approach, with a qualitative approach to data collection, the analysis of the data was done according to the historical method and the interpretation of the data according to realistic and interdependence theories. It emerges that several factors motivated Turkey's commitment to Cameroon, notably the search for new economic outlets, the need to ensure its energy needs, and motivations linked to its international ambition to impose itself little by little in as a key player on the African continent. Relations between Cameroon and Turkey are certainly dynamic but face multiple challenges.
