dc.description.abstractPoverty is a problem which appears among the concerns of all organizations, agencies and countries of the planet try to regulate at all the prices. Moreover, among the Objectives of the sustainable Development, the problem of poverty appears at the head of the phenomena to solve. The figures of this phenomenon for the developing countries are alarming. For example, more than half of the inhabitants of these countries live with less than two dollars per day. If economic dimension were considered a long time to characterize the poverty of the individuals and the countries, it remains that the economic indices lead to other indices like the difficulty of access to water, electricity, the fact of living in habitats of fortuitous, the lack or the insufficiency of infrastructures of all kinds, etc... Because of the difficulties that they face, the majority of the households are constrained to occupy these spaces what creates pockets of poverty. In Cameroun, even if the situation does not emerge yet towards those which one names the shantytowns, in the large cities of the country like Yaoundé, certain households encounter some of the problems mentioned to above. It is for example the case of the municipality of Yaoundé III where certain neighborhoods, the inhabitants suffer from these difficulties. The aim of this research is to present the pockets of poverty in the district commune of Yaoundé III. So, for this study, the main points which are poverty, urban poverty, inequality and spaces. In the analysis, the hypothetical-deductive method has been use by formulating the hypothesis which are been verify with many descents on the ground. A quality and quantitatively analysis has been done and some results have been found. The repartition of the poverty in the municipality of Yaoundé III is the combination of many factories. Many actors including the people who occupied the space, the wrong decision taken by the government authorities could be explain this spatial repartition of this poverty. This repartition has many consequences in the occupation of this space and also in the social behavior. In the future, it is interest to see if you will have the same results in others district commune.fr_FR
