Mobility is a reality observable in all periods of the evolution of humanity: prehistoric, historical, modern and postmodern. When we talk about mobility, with its societal issues, questions relating to territories play a central role. This is also, what motivated the choice of our research subject, namely: Poetics of territories in contemporary French-speaking literature: a comparative reading of The Map and the territory by Michel Houellebecq and The season of shadow by Leonora Miano. Thus, the problem posed by the latter is that of putting the territories into test in our corpus. Therefore, how the writing of territories deployed in the map and territory and the season of shadow, we opted for the geocritical methodological grid, in particular that of Bertrand Wesphal, with the postulate: « The relationships between literature and human spaces are not fixed but dynamic ». Regarding the theoretical framework, the Postmodernism serves as theotitical benchmark for examining territories, with the comparative approach of Claude Pichois and André Rousseau in orientation. It is therefore clear that the territories present themselves and imaginary experience, and the representation of the territories serves to highlight a cosmic harmony and an artistic balance. Under the impetus of the theoretical and methodological frameworks mentioned above, we have organized our work into three parts. At first glance, we have examined the modalities of the territory, then from the territory to the thought of territory and finally the functions of poetics and the ideological of the authors.fr_FR
