Management prévisionnel et limitation des violences en milieu scolaire : vers une analyse de la planification de prospective cas de trois Lycées du Mfoundi

Abstract

This study focuses on prospective management and the limitation of violence in schools, leading to an analysis of prospective planning. The research was conducted in three high schools in the Mfoundi region, where violence cases and rates are high. The problem addressed by this study is the inefficiency of predictive measures in the face of the increasing violence in schools. However, the present study aims to propose violence prevention strategies through strategic planning to better anticipate and significantly reduce violence in secondary schools in Yaoundé. Despite the mechanisms and measures implemented by the government to curb this phenomenon, school violence has been on the rise in Yaoundé since 2018, endangering the well-being, physical integrity, and morale of students and teachers. Based on investigations and field visits, we confirmed our general research hypothesis: the effective implementation of predictive measures contributes to limiting violence in schools. This research hypothesis was supported by secondary hypotheses. To achieve this, we conducted quantitative research using SPSS and Pearson correlation analysis to explore the relationships between variables. Additionally, we drew insights from explanatory theories such as planned change and bounded rationality. These findings allowed us to propose a predictive framework that could effectively reduce violence in Yaoundé’s high schools and across Cameroon.
