| Résumé: | The present study seeks to examine the impact of technology pedagogic integration on teachers effectiveness.In order to do this the researcher adopted a descriptive research survey using a quantitative approach. The study was conducted in the Mfoundi division precisely in some selected secondary schools of Yaounde 7. The population of the study were mainly the teachers of some selected schools whereby a total of 63 participants were randomly selected to take part in the study. In order to collect the data, the researcher made use of a questionnaire, the validity and reliability of the data collection instrument was tested through the face validity and content validity while the reliability was tested through the pilote study. In order to analyse data collected from the field the researcher made use of the statistical data analysis technic precisely the simple linear regression. The data analysed revealed in H1 pedagogy has a statical significant effect on teachers effectiveness in some selected secondary schools of Yaounde 7, also in H2 technology accessibility has a statistical significant effect on a teacher's effectiveness in some selected secondary schools of Yaounde 7, moreover in H3 collaboration and communication has a statistical significant effect on teachers effectiveness in some selected secondary schools of Yaounde 7, again in H4 professional development has a statistically significant effect on a teacher effectiveness in some selected secondary schools of Yaounde 7. Based on the results of the findings the following suggestions were made; we recommend the government policy makers and educational planners and the school head authorities should revise and refine the teaching methods in schools,we suggest that teachers should adopt hybrid teaching method or blended learning , again on the basis of our findings, we suggest that the teachers and school administrators , and student must collaborate and communicate amongst each other so as enhance a good technology integration,Lastly from our findings, we suggest that the teachers should be given opportunities of growth and development in other to improve the technological skills and knowledge. This study focused principaly on technology pedagogy integration and teachers effectiveness, thus a further study can be carried out on the effect of technology integration on students performance in secondary schools of Cameroon. |
