| Résumé: | This study investigates the relationship between resource management and teacher efficiency in selected primary schools within the Yaoundé II Subdivision, Cameroon. It aims to explore how the allocation, utilization, and maintenance of both human and material resources affect the performance and productivity of teachers. The research adopted a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with headteachers, teachers, and administrative staff. Findings revealed that effective resource management—particularly in areas such as instructional materials, classroom infrastructure, and teacher workload planning—significantly enhances teacher efficiency. Conversely, poor resource planning and limited availability of teaching aids contribute to reduced motivation and classroom effectiveness. The study concludes that improving resource management practices can play a vital role in boosting educational outcomes. It recommends policy reforms and capacitybuilding programs to support school leaders in optimizing resource use for improved teaching performance. |
