| dc.description.abstract | This research work has the epistemological purpose of showing that, far from ancient, patristic, medieval, modern, and contemporary considerations on corporality, the status of the body in Maurice Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of Perception influences the structuring of aesthetic and ontological discourse in the postmodern era. Additionally, it contributes as a conceptual corpus in the process of highlighting Negroid-African aesthetics. From the above, it is appropriate to say that if we pause on the thought of this author, it is because we consider it essential in understanding the philosophy of arts and fine arts today. Then, the problem of the epistemological connection between Merleau-Ponty's conception of the body and the science of sensibility in the postmodern era and its dialogue with African thought arises. Using an analytical-critical method, we aim to achieve the following result: the status of the body in Merleau-Ponty redefines the face of aesthetics today and shares, despite divergences, convergences with the African posture of the body | fr_FR |
