The present study is titled: "The Society of Missionaries of the Saints Apostles and the Training of Catholic Clergy in Cameroon: 1966-2020." The problem to be addressed is the effective contribution of the Society of Missionaries of the Saints Apostles in training young African adults for the priesthood, at a time when the Church is facing a clergy shortage issue in Cameroon. The methodology highlighted for addressing the facts is primarily based on a qualitative approach in which oral and written sources, both primary and secondary, were collected, processed, and analyzed. This approach is complemented by a quantitative approach that highlights measurable empirical data through curves, tables, and graphs. This dual approach has allowed not only for the illumination of the impressive increase in the number of African clergy under the Society of Missionaries of the Saints Apostles, but also the practice of a training model adapted to young adults.fr_FR
