Résumé: Ebolowa, the chief town of south region, embodies a multitude of touristic sites. Those sites are unfortunately under-exploited and less frequently visited. Mostly situated in the surroundings and distant from the town, those areas lack hotels. Thus, tourists are obliged to live in town and to alimitation of the visit duration in sites because however, hotels sum to face the same problems. They are almost empty and tourists’ visits there are insignificant. This is the observations that lead to the choice of our research of topic namely: « hotel services and promotion of tourism in the tocon of Ebolowa». The method adapted to carry out our study efficiently was the hypothetico-deductive approach to which we joined the systemic approach method. We formulate hypothesis that we them verified. The data collected were both quantitative through a questionnaire, and qualitative, through interview and books reading. After, the result analysis, we research to the conclusion that inspite of the average services quality in hotels of Ebolowa, there are still many problems. Some of these problems are: the abundant number of non-classified hotels, a high number of dilettantes in the domain, a very few personnel, the ruinous state of buildings and their anarchic construction, and the problem of water and electricity unavailability in the area. All these factors do not favour the quality service expected from hotel and limit the promotion in the locality.
