Central African countries including Cameroon are lagging behind in the touristic sector despite the fact that the latter is gifted with enormous touristic potentials. For years now, the government is thinking about developing tourism. A tourism that takes into account the development of all its aspects namely touristic potentials. Given this context of unexploited potentials, and in order to bring out a set of issues, we carried out a study titled «the valorisation of the Mbaminkom touristic site and the development of touristic activities» that aims at showing how enhancing the value of the touristic site of Okola subdivision will enable the development of touristic activities in Nkolfeb. To do this, we therefore represent the touristic potentials of the site, the state of touristic activities at the site, that is, the demand and supply, propose a solution to boost the socio economic development and give the impacts (positive, negative) of this solution on the population and the locality. To succeed in exploring all the aspects, we adopted a systematic approach, accompanied by a hypothetical and deductive approach. The purpose of this hypothetical and deductive approach is to verify the hypothesis we stated. Our tools were field observation, enquiries, discussions and compilation of documents. Data analysis was carried out using softwares like: SPSS for data documentation and management, EXCEL to create figures, ARCGIS to draw-up our maps, Microsoft Word for key boarding. At the end of this study we noticed that: the valorisation of the site appeals to the private and public sectors to solve the numerous issues of the site and the different impacts that this valorisation will have on the population be it positive or negative. Nevertheless the main actors to the valorisation of the site are: the institutions, the township, the touristic enterprises, the civil society and the local population. These main actors have to work in collaboration, coordinate their actions by setting up a common strategy on the valorisation of the site so as to develop touristic activities.en_US
