dc.description.abstracthis research work is a reflection on the place of the computer in improving spelling performance: the case of students in Cycle Observing Biyem-assi high school. We started with an observation that learners wake cycle have great difficulty to spell correctly the words of the French language. With this in mind, we question the lack of good performance in spelling class of sixth graders and fifth in French. The overall objective of our work is to see what the impact of the computer when teaching spelling to students under the observation cycle. To do so we conducted a field investigation through observation of lessons in the classroom, an oral interview and a questionnaire to teachers and students to identify classroom practices in the sub spelling discipline. We have seen through this investigation that the infrastructure is not accessible by students; the computer provides better performance for the students who use it. To avoid this situation in the future, we propose the integration of the computer in the teaching-learning process of spelling in order to improve their performance.en_US
