Résumé: The Limbe city, in the South West region of Cameroun, presents many naturals and geographic assets which makes her one of the most attractive town of this country. But nowadays, it faces an important underdevelopment principally characterizes by an accelerated demographic growth. The main point of this presentation is to bring a certain contribution in the amelioration of touristic domain, by analyzing the socio-economic impact of tourism on the development of the city. The study took place during the 2015 years and consists on investigations and collaboration with actors of different socio-economics and touristic activities of the city. After investigations it appears that the city overflows a huge touristic resources (sites and touristic products). Unfortunately, most of them are not well exploited and forsaken, which eventually results of a disorganization of the touristic domain. So the growth of this sector of economic activity is enhanced by resolution of problems like, the careless of touristic sites, the very expensive rates of comparing to the quality of services, the amateurism of actors in touristic services. The socio-economic impact of tourism on the economic development of Limbe is not visible. It is easy and obvious to find different solutions which can increases this activity so that it can contribute to the development of the city
