Globally, the Fako Division embodies a large variety of natural and cultural touristic sites. This, the aim of this study that focused on historic cultural sites, is to improve the attractiveness of those sites, in order to foster cultural tourism in Fako Division and in Cameroon in general. We proceeded through questionnaire and interview investigations towards key persons that are also actors in the sector of tourism. The interpretation of results reveals that cultural sites (historical sites) are touristic products that still attract very few visitors. This is justified by the great attractiveness of natural sites like Mount Cameroon the sea, and botanic garden just to make these few. Therefor, cultural tourism through historical sites can be fostered if only some specific mesures and taken. Among those mesures figure: giving tourists sufficient information about historical products, promoting a synergy among the various actors of tourism, and others.fr_FR
