dc.description.abstract | Since a few years, tourism has become an industry provider of returns, of employment and at the same time an engine of development for several countries of the world. Hotel infrastructure being a typical element of the success of this activity to the extent that their valorisation and put in place in a locality that promotes a significant flow of visitors and impulse the local development. Aware of this reality, Cameroon through the MINTOUR, tourism policies and other partners have made it a priority in its objective of emergence in 2035. In fact, hotel infrastructure exist in Cameroon since the independence but know a lopsided distribution in the whole of the territory. The example of Obala is more expressive since the city in question, is located at the side of the political capital knows a very large deficit in the hotel infrastructure. Our study interrogates the link that exists between hotel infrastructure in the process of putting in place, recovery, promotion and the development of tourism as a practice, economic, political and socio-cultural in the city of Obala. We highlight the hotel infrastructure, their different activities as well as the strategies of recovery for that they promote better development of tourism in Obala. The methodological approach that we have used in the framework of our study is hypothetico-deductive, while incorporating a systemic approach for the analysis of the game of the actors. The assumption according to which " the establishment of a number of strategies and the involvement of several actors are indispensable for hotel infrastructures to promote the development of tourism in obala ," we have through questionnaires and interviews, analyzed the contribution of the hotel infrastructure in the process of development of tourism in Obala. It is clear that despite a small presence of hotel infrastructure in this locality, the reality is that they do not impact not enough on the development of tourism and that due to several shortcomings which justify its deficiencies observed in these different structures of the accommodation. The strategies of valorisation proposed by the promoters, the clients and the riparian households as well as the involvement of many State actors, private and the site allow this sector to know an important development in the aim to better promote the development of tourism in Obala. | fr_FR |
