This has been so because majority of the trainees and learners lack maximum quality of education to permit them get integrated in the job market and meet up with the exigencies of the work force in the world. It is in this light that the current study seeks to investigate the use of maps and graphics in the teaching of atmospheric circulation in secondary school. In this light, it explores the flaws of learners during the lesson with the view of facilitating the acquisition of skills and the know-how in geography. In other to do so, a number of hypotheses are formulated, tested and checked in the light of library work. As for the latter, a lesson prepared according to the CBA approach is presented. The findings show that the use of maps and graphics ease the teaching and learning process in Geography. Consequently, the research Endeavour recommends that their use should be integrated in the official programmes of Geography. In the same vein, all secondary schools should be equipped with maps and graphics. | fr_FR |
