Résumé: The following study presents the problem of the efficient management and administration of schools in Cameroon. It is inspired on the problems of management and administration which Cameroon schools in particular and African schools in general suffer from. In fact, focusing on the observations made in the schools that were suffering from archaic management procedures and an illustrative literature which African schools in general and Cameroon schools in particular were suffering from, we have considered Information and Communication Technologies as a way of increasing the performances of the different actors of the schools resources management. By the several possibilities offered, the ICT are in fact an implement of increasing the performances of workers in any sectors of the life and their presence in near all our daily activities make from that implement something necessary to the contemporary worker satisfaction. Our study, entitled “Ouverture aux TIC et efficacité dans la gestion des établissements scolaires du Cameroun : cas des établissements de l’enseignement secondaire général de la ville de Yaoundé.”, had as goal to verify the following general hypothesis : the use of ICT helps in a more efficient management of schools ressources. To attend that general goal, using the theory of acceptance of technology, the theory of innovation and the transtheoretical approach of change, we have made studies in two schools of the Yaoundé Town. That study, made with questionnaire, had as goal to determine the level of use of the ICT by the different actors of the management of those schools resources and the perception that they have from those technologies. The analysis of data collected during that study has permitted us to confirm our general hypothesis; the use of ICT helps in increasing the performances of the schools resources, and helps in their satisfaction as nowadays workers. However, some preconditions have been noticed for a real efficiency of ICT as implement school life management as far as the different managers initial training to the use of ICT, and the equipment of different functions of school administration with appropriate ICT devices are concerned.
