Contribution au management de la santé et sécurité dans un chantier d’exploitation forestière.

Abstract

The present memory is a contribution to the management of health and security in a construction site of forestry exploitation. In presents the activities in the midst of a construction site of forestry exploitation. The five main steps necessary to the production of wood are thus: the prospection, pulling down, processing, skidding, loading and transport. In the same vein in presents the general characteristics of the white “Doussié”, an essence exclusively exploited in the midst of the forest community through its heavy reddish brown wood, the weak height of its trunk between 15-20m and its foliage composed of bet pained with leaflets. Moreover, by the means of the APR (Analyse Préliminaire des Risques), it identifies and characterises 13 professional risks and three environmental risks. Amongst the professional risks: 15,38% are bearable risks which are risks reduced to the lowest level (risk of scrapes and accident of circulation) 61,53% are moderated risks which have to be reduced but does not necessitate urgent actions(risk of burn, fire incident, noise nuisance, exposition to chemical agents, fractures, animal attacks, one’s mislead of the road and exposition to biological agents) 23,07% are intolerable risks which have to be deleted and which necessitates urgent actions (risk of injury, fall, lombalgia and cervicalgia). Faced to these risks, we propose the following recommendations in a plan of gesture of risks: the wearing of individual equipment of protection (masks, gloves, boots, protection glasses, earplugs and labour uniforms) ; installation of signalisation panels ; installation of pictograms and signalling dangers ; installation of fire extinguisher ; acquisition of first aid box ; sensitisation of the exploiters on the risks of forestry exploitation ; recruitment of a competent responsible of the quality of hygiene , of the security and environment.
