Résumé: As part of our final thesis for the DIPET II, concerns "Studding and realisation of an isothermal slask process based on (recycled polyurethane and banana spiral)". We have developed and characterized a polyurethane from matrix composite material reinforced with banana fibers. The objective of this work is to develop the composite material and to characterize the fiber. The approach adopted consisted in associating the two constituents by a binder (glue) so that the mixture can be homogeneous. For good dosing of the material, a digital balance served as a weighing point for determining the density. A cardboard enclosure served us as a mold to form our insulation. A tensile testing machine enabled us to close our experiment by the tensile test on 09 samples (7 by formulations). The following results were obtained: In terms of physical characterization: The densities of the fibers that we have developed in Table I.3: Physico-chemical and mechanical characteristics of banana fibers. In addition we propose the industrial synoptic diagram of manufacture of the thermos. At the end we have the curve showing the evolution of the temperatures in the thermos and the time of conservation. It ends with the presentation of the maintenance conditions and its selling price which is:
