Résumé: This research starts from the observation according to which many of the students experienced difficulties adapting to the school environment. In fact, absenteeism, failures, repetitions and even the dropouts have observed with great acuity in our schools today. The objective is to explain the motivational determinants influence the adaptation of the school environment , justifies the motivation choice theory according to Roland Viau (1994) pay to support this work and allowed us to draw the following conclusions: the perception of an activity value determines the school milieu adaptation; the perception of this skills influence the school environment adaptation. We have been able to understand this phenomenon through a questionary we conveyed to the final literary years students of the Ebolowa bilingual high school. It is clear from this study that the motivational determinants influence the learners adaptation in the school environment.
