dc.description.abstractWe propose in this study reflects on social categorization in terms of disability and the sense of belonging in inclusive education situation. While numerous studies have addressed the phenomenon of belonging in many angles: geographical location, land ownership, managerial ownership and school belonging, it seems that very few studies have analyzed up when the feeling membership of disabled students in inclusive schools while combining social categorization thereof. This lack of knowledge about social categorization in terms of disability in association with the sense of belonging in inclusive education situation. The question that has underpinned this study is the question: how is social categorization impact - on her sense of belonging in inclusive education situation? The overall objective of our study is to report on social categorization mechanisms related disability that is an influence on the sense of belonging in inclusive education situation. More specifically, it is to describe and discuss the accentuation of differences inter categorical, intra categorical similarities, through discrimination and social competition within the university that have an influence on the sense of belonging in inclusive education situation. The study is based on a qualitative approach, and uses the method of individual interviews, semi-structured type, such as technical data collection in the field. The collected data were analyzed using the method of content analysis, and the results indicate that the accentuation of differences inter categorical similarity intra categorical, social competition has a positive impact on the sense of membership of student with disabilities in the University of Yaoundé 1.Et that through discrimination have a negative influence on the sense of belonging of students with disabilities. From the stereotypes and prejudices and negative adjectives, the disabled students are struggling to be able to integrate into the university.fr_FR
