Influence de l’insuffisance du matériel bureautique et compétences pratiques des élèves du Lycée Technique d’Ebolowa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the handling of office equipment on the practical skills of students of the Technical High School of Ebolowa. It emerges from this objective, two specific objectives namely to analyze the relationship between the practice of office automation and the improvement of the practical skills of the students of the Technical High School of Ebolowa and to analyze the relationship between the insufficiency of office automation equipment in an establishment and the practical skills of its students. To achieve these objectives, a questionnaire was developed and administered to a sample of 60 students in the 6 classes that are the subject of our study, 10 per class. The hypotheses were tested through the chi-square test using the SPSS data analysis software. These results confirm that the use of office equipment influences the practical skills of the students of the Ebolowa Technical High School. This confirmation gave rise to recommendations to the State to which, we proposed to provide more schools with the necessary, adequate material and to conduct field trips from time to time to see the state places of office automation rooms. To the administrative staff of the establishment, in particular the principal, the office automation teachers, we recommended them to ensure the maintenance of the office equipment present and also to ensure their repair. Finally, we recommended that students be motivated themselves to be able to succeed and improve their skills.
