dc.description.abstract | As part of the project design and realization of a hybrid egg incubator with battery charge of telephones, we first designed the frame that will allow us to house and incubate the eggs, this has a temperature determined by the user according to the species listed; we then proceeded to the installation of the fans, one of which will allow the same amount of heat to be released throughout the incubator and another will be used for aeration. Our incubator will consist mainly of a heating resistance of 200 W, an engine with a power of 14W linked to a mechanical device which drives the movement of the glazes on which the eggs are stored and a Gsm Sim 900A mini to communicate with the operator. Therefore the temperature and relative humidity will be regulated and controlled by the temperature and humidity sensor. In the case of hen eggs, this temperature shall be maintained at 37,5°C and relative humidity at 55 ℅ during the brooding period and 37°C for temperature and 75% for relative humidity during the hatching period. The humidity level is ensured by a humidifier that will spray water vapor in the incubator enclosure. The operation of the control and the power will be controlled by an electronic board called “Arduino” ; our incubator will also be equipped with a small solar photovoltaic installation consisting of a 100Wc solar panel, a 65Ah battery, a 10A PWM controller and an inverter with a power of 300W. This installation will be supplied with the conventional power source distributed by Eneo operator in case of load shedding to avoid a system shutdown that could impact production. This incubator is designed to address the shortage of one (01) day old chicks encountered by poultry farmers. | en_US |
