Résumé: The quality of training is a major concern for the Ministry for the Women’s Empowerment and the Family (MINPROFF) in its contribution to the building of Education For All (EFA). This work aimed to establish the link of significant influence between certain parameters of initial teacher training and the quality of training in the Women’s Empower and the Family Centres (CPFF) of Mfoundi. This study was guided by the theory of socio-constructivism and by penetrating this theory it emerges as an explanation of the problem that: certainly teachers are major actors in the training of learners, however, the latter are in contact with several other environmental factors which can either dilute or increase the quality of their training received. The mixed parallel model method was used for this study. A comparison of the hypothesis was made using a questionnaire with a sample of 40 teachers and six principals and an interview guide was also used to collect data from 6 learners. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS version 21 software with linear regression as the analysis method for quantitative data and ATLAS. Ti version 22 for qualitative data. Three of the four hypotheses turned out to be true, namely: the professional, pedagogical level and mastery of the second language of teachers significantly influence the quality of training in the CPFF of Mfoundi. This is not the case for the initial school level. And at the same time, the results of the qualitative analysis revealed that the initial training of teachers contributes effectively to the development of the cognitive, psychomotor and socio-affective domain of learners. It appears from the above that the quality of the training given in the CPFF of Mfoundi is significantly influenced by the initial training of teachers. As a result, the basic profile of recruitment in these centres should be more accentuated on these three parameters.
