Résumé: | This study focuses on “Humanitarian Action in Chad: World Vision Intervention in the Western Logon region (1985-2022)”. It aims to highlight the humanitarian contribution of the World Vision Organization in the Western Logon region. A region strongly affected and impoverished by the various crises that affected Chad in general. This work, which extends over four chapters, has made it possible to establish the origins of the intervention of this Organization in Western Logon. Subsequently, he focused on the action program developed by World Vision to improve the living conditions of the target population. The work shows that for almost three decades, and despite the obstacles linked to its proper functioning, World Vision has improved the living standards of vulnerable people. The Organization has invested in setting up sustainable development projects focused on education and sponsorship of children, emergency humanitarian aid and reconstruction, awareness campaigns called "advocacy campaigns", support and nutritional care for vulnerable people and the fight against major epidemics. To carry out our work, we conducted field surveys to collect oral testimonies related to this subject. The written documents present in different documentations centers and on the Internet were also used and analyzed using a qualitative and qualitative approach. |
