Valorisation du patrimoine colonialallemand etdeveloppement du tourismedans la ville de yaounde

Abstract

Cameroon disposes of a rich and diversified cultural touristic potential capable of promotingthe development of tourism. Among these cultural touristic potentialities, is the culturalpotential linked to the German architectural heritage in Yaounde. Nevertheless, it is needlessto prove the importance and income that many states draw from the touristic section ingeneral and cultural tourism in particular. However, the development of cultural tourism in the town of Yaounde does not take into account all these historical potentialities. Now, the valorization of this German architectural heritage can promote development in tourism by enabling a best management of this historical heritage. In effect, this work poses the problem of value and sustainable management of this German architectural heritage as touristic potentiality capable of solving questions of development. It equally put in place related opportunities offered both by patrimony and tourism. However, many policies linked to the development of tourism are put in place by various actors. For better approach of this work, we adopted the hypothetic-deductive approach, in order to better analysed the state of the management of the heritage and the development of tourism in the town of Yaounde. We adopted a methodology of data collection in order to obtain a certain number of results. To this effect, it seems as if the town of Yaounde comprises of a colonial heritage of which the state is mitigated. This patrimony according to the different owners protects or not many services which are more or less favorable to the development of a better valorization of tourism, it shows that, the various actors must work in synergism by putting in place measures to facilitate the management and the touristic valorization of this German Colonial heritage in the town of Yaounde.
